Held from 1pm to 4pm, The Mercersburg Beer and Wine Festival will be hosted by the Tuscarora Chamber of Commerce in Mercersburg Park at 405 S. Park Avenue in Mercersburg. With over 10 wineries and vintners and more than 28 breweries with 50 craft beers, it’s impossible to not find something for everyone at this year’s event!
The admission price of $25 includes unlimited responsible access to all beers, 3 samples from each winery, a commemorative sample mug, free wine tote and can coozie, free parking or free shuttle. There will be a shuttle that picks up from the square of Mercersburg during Townfest.
Confirmed breweries include Blood Moon, Crystal Ball, Deschutes, Dog Fish Head, Evolution, Evil Genius, Full Tilt, Goose Island, Great Lakes, Ithaca, Laquintas, Leinenkugal, Liquid Hero, Long Trail, Magic Hat, New Belgium, Roy Pitz, Shiner, Six Point, South County, Spring House, Stouts, Straub, Troegs, Widmer Brothers, Wyndridge, Yards and Yuengling. Wineries attending include Adams Vitners, Adams County Winery, Allegheny Cellars Wine, Happy Valley Vineyard and Winery, Jan Zell Wines, Olivero’s Vineyard, Spring Gate Vineyard, Stonekeep Meadery and The Vineyard at Hershey.
For a family-friendly day of fun, Mercersburg Townfest is going on September 24 as well! From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m, downtown Mercersburg will be home to over 120 different artisan vendors including crafters, culinary experts and entertainment from community and school bands with a children’s fun section on the grounds of the Mercersburg Elementary School.
From delicious food by Flannery’s Tavern, Thai House, Gary’s Pit Beef, Sherri’s Crab Cakes, to delectable items such as Rita’s Italian Ice, kettle corn and Dietrich’s Ice Cream, TownFest has fun for all!
