Built as a one room school in 1910 and then a two room school in 1916, the museum was originally known as the New Baltimore Quincy Township School and was operated until 1955. Sold at Public Sale to Edward Carbaugh the building was used as a garage and storage area until purchased by New Baltimore Church of God on October 24, 2002. Preserving our Heritage Archives and Museum is a Regional Archives and Museum facility hosting the Greater Waynesboro Area. Preserving Our Heritage Archives & Museum contains material and photographs as they relate to Quincy Township, Mont Alto, South Mountain and the Greater Waynesboro Area. The 1916 portion of the building is also utilized for religious and social meetings, meals, movies, and various other functions.n
