Happel’s meadow is an 85-acre unique upland wetlands that is being preserved in perpetuity by Washington Township. Donations will be utilized for the preservation of the meadow.

Formerly known as Bear Swamp, Happel’s Meadow is located along
PA Route 16 six miles east of Waynesboro.
