Just outside of Chambersburg, a gentle flowing limestone creek can be found winding its way down though some public but most privately owned meadows and home front properties. Then, this small spring creek makes its way into Chambersburg where it empties into the Conococheague. The Falling Spring may be small, but is of great importance and has become one of the finest trout streams in the state of PA. The Falling Spring TU chapter has and still is diligently working on the preservation and restoration of the Falling Spring.
