PENN NATIONAL COMMUNITY

Penn National features two 18-hole championship golf courses- The Founders Course and the Iron Forge Course. Both courses continue to receive accolades from two of the nations leading golf publications – Golf Digest and Golf Styles. And just as Penn National offers every modern amenity along with a great sense of history, its two golf courses also offer a choice of traditional or contemporary. The Founders Course (1968) features a classic blend of tree-lined fairways, large greens, sculpted bunkers and a 7-acre lake. The Iron Forge Course (1997) provides a modern link-style course with sculpted bent-grass fairways, more open to the forces of nature. Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” has consistently awarded both courses 4+ stars since 1999. Penn National Golf Course Community is also adjacent to the 85,000 acre Michaux State Forest and has a series of trails within the community that have trail heads leading into the state forest.
