Little Antietam Creek, Inc. (LACI) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire and educate people of all ages in history and the process of historical and archaeological research…So what better way to accomplishing this than by welcoming participants of all ages and descriptions to work along side us and learn the methods and procedures used in archaeological and historical research? Our mottoes are: research and education through history and share in the process of discovery. LACI is based in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania and as a result, is dedicated to thoroughly examining the life and culture of those people that emigrated to the Cumberland Valley of Pennsylvania and Maryland in the 18th century, and how and why this area has changed from then until the present.
