It is that time of year when little ghouls and ghosts will be hitting the streets looking for candy. Here is a listing of the Trick or Treat nights and parades in the Franklin County area:
Chambersburg Borough: Saturday, Oct. 31 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Downtown Business Council will host “Trick or Treat on Main Street” and a costume contest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Costume Contest will be held at the Courthouse Plaza on the square.
Greene Township: Saturday Oct. 31 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Greencastle: Thursday, Oct. 29 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Shippensburg: Saturday, Oct. 31 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Shippensburg Halloween Parade: Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
Southampton Township (Franklin): Saturday, Oct. 31 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Southampton Township (Franklin) Fall Fest: Friday, Oct. 30 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in township building on Municipal Drive
Mercersburg: Saturday, Oct. 31 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Mercersburg Halloween Parade: Monday, Nov. 2 at 8 p.m.
Waynesboro: Thursday, Oct. 22 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
